⌚ Formex Reef: value and history

The Formex Reef GMT is a diver with a second time zone. Watch media describe it as an automatic chronometer with 300 metres of water resistance, and retailer listings give a 42 mm case. The two films in this group are an unboxing of the Reef GMT 300m and a hands-on review that looks at the watch in detail. The videos below come from the official Formex channel.

Today, we're going to be reviewing the Formex Reef GMT. Our old Senior Writer, Mike, was our in-house Formex reviewer so this is the first time I've had hands on with a Formex. I had a brief hands-on with their lineup at Wind Up last October, so I was excited to finally spend some time with one. The bottom line with this watch is that it is a fantastic watch with some of the most exciting technology available in a watch that doesn't cost over $2,000. We have a lot to unpack here, bezels, straps, and toolless quick release and micro adjustments, so let's not waste anymore time.
